Before joining Google, I was tasked with creating a video tutorial on Gmail filters.
The project was to have no voiceover, so the info had to be conveyed through clear, on-screen copy. With only a 2-day deadline, I learned to use the video editing software, researched the technical requirements, scripted the video, and produced the final tutorial. This script I wrote features Officer Az-Oolay, an activist who appears at high-tension protests dressed as a clown police officer, diffusing conflict with kindness. Her presence shifts the atmosphere from fear to empathy, reminding that even the most heated political moments - are about people.
